I came home from Five on the 23rd and found this whole batch of cicadas near my front-yard lamp

They're all just hanging out!

Then I noticed this thing and got a picture of it too. I've since realized it's a cicada nymph

They're all over my sisters car

The nymph is so ugly. I should have followed it and watched it hatch

There were a bunch in the back yard too, but out of like 10 pictures, this is the best one I got. Pretty pathetic...

I went up this path, but didn't find anything interesting

These little bridges are cute. Maybe I can live under one some day

Not many cicadas, but their nymph shells are all over the place

Strange how they reflect the flash so much

Makes them all shiny

With this gross puddle filled with little bugs

This ant's just walking around on the water... What does he expect to find on the water!? I hope he drowns

There're little tadpole things all in the water. I don't know if they're bugs or tad-poles
