Cars

This is an on-going documentation of my many cars

PictureSummer 1998: My very first car, a '93 Oldsmobile Cutlas Ciera
PictureLate 1999: I totalled it on the way to Blockbuster Video in Manassas.
PictureNovember 1999: My second car. This gigantic Ford Crown Victoria.
PictureJuly 2000: I totalled it on the way to work one night, but don't actually have a picture of that.
PictureJuly 2000: Quick little Honda Accord.
PictureJune 2001: Oops!
PictureOctober 31 2001: An '85 Oldsmobile Cutlas Ciera
PictureMarch 19 2003: '99 Mercury Mistique.
PictureJanuary 16, 2004: I let someone borrow my car in November to drive home late one Sunday night, and she never gave it back. February 2004 I called the police to report it stolen, and they said it had been involved in an incident and was impounded. This is what I found when I went to check it out!
PictureOctober 15, 2004: An underage drunk driver smashed her SUV into my nice Mercury car while it was parked in front of my house!
PictureI really liked this car and wanted to keep it, but insurance reported the car a total loss the following Thursday
PictureThe driver also hit and totaled my mom's car, which was parked directly behind mine.
PictureOctober 22, 2004: Even nicer than my last car, this silver 2000 Mazda 626 is totally sweet! It has all of the features my Mercury had like leather interior, moon roof, alloy wheels, power everything, and trunk security, but it also looks a nicer.
PictureHere's what happens when you cut a corner too close in DC
PictureOctober 27, 2007: My car was stolen...
PictureAnd 4AM on Monday October 29th the theif flipped the car through a bus stop and hit a utility pole at Route 1 and Lockheed Blvd.
SentraNovember 2007: Replaced my Mazda with this little Nissan Sentra. Nothing fancy, it's a good little car. Gets 30-35 miles per gallon!
SentraSeptember 2008: I was over in the City of Fairfax with my realtor doing a home inspection at a condo I'm buying, and we come outside a couple hours later to find our cars in the middle of a huge flood! I didn't have my camera on me, but got this picture off the news.
PictureSeptember 2008: 2002 Volkswagon Passat, V6 manual transmission, only 36K miles. This car is amazing, but obviously it gets worse gas mileage than the Sentra, and requires the 93 octane.
